B&M has decided to terminate its online home delivery service following a trial period, Retail Week reports.
First trialled last June, it offered the service for its range of heavier general merchandise products which shoppers would struggle to transport themselves, from a range of approximately 1,000 products including garden and indoor furniture, electrical equipment and toys and games.
The discount retailer still offered home delivery on its website in January 2023 but Retail Week discovered this was taken down in February.

Its website no longer features options for home delivery so customers can now only use it to browse products ahead of buying them in-store.
Meanwhile, a separate site, B&M Garden Buildings has delivery options available on large garden items including sheds, greenhouses, decking and furniture.
At the start of the year, the business reported strong ‘Golden Quarter’ sales over the all-important Christmas trading period as shoppers sought out value options amid the cost-of-living crisis.
B&M chief executive Alex Russo said: “Despite the challenging macroeconomic environment, we will continue to work hard to help both existing and new customers manage the cost-of-living crisis.”
