Ann Summers names new finance director as CFO exits

Ann Summers chief financial officer John Boyle is retiring from the retailer after 11 years, as Kristina Moln-Page is promoted to finance director of the company.

Moln-Page currently serves as head of finance of the business, having previously joined Ann Summers in May 2022 as strategic project consultant.

Prior to joining the lingerie company, she spent almost ten years at Asos, holding several managerial positions in its finance function, and previously served as a finance analyst for Debenhams.

The executive is due to start her role in July, and will report to CEO off the brand Maria Hollins.

Moln-Page will overtake Boyle, who has worked as the company’s CFO since July 2020 and COO from 2015 to 2019.

He will stay on the board of directors as a non-executive director in an advisory capacity.

Ann Summers chair Vanessa Gold said: “I want to take this opportunity to thank John for his professionalism and significant contribution to Ann Summers for the past 11 years. His contribution has been wide ranging and for that reason I am delighted that he will continue to work with both Ann Summers and Gold family companies in an advisory capacity.

“I am delighted to welcome Kristina to the Board. Her knowledge of the retail sector and of our business makes her an ideal successor to John and I have every confidence that she has the expertise to support the business in her new role.”

Ann Summers saw profit and sales rise in its full year results earlier this month, which it said was “driven by consumers returning to the high street post-pandemic”.

Profit was up 3% to £61.8m for the year ended 1 July, compared to £60m the year before.
