Bugaboo and Stella McCartney unveil global stroller collaboration

Bugaboo has partnered with Stella McCartney on a new special-edition collection of luxury parenting products, set to launch globally in September 2026.

The partnership brings together Bugaboo’s engineering and product design expertise with Stella McCartney’s fashion-led approach to responsible luxury. It will form the first stage of a multi-year collaboration focused on conscious design, self-expression and innovation.

The launch marks Bugaboo’s first major brand collaboration in more than a decade, following previous partnerships with Missoni, Diesel and Kith.

The Amsterdam-founded stroller brand said the tie-up would help strengthen its cultural relevance and appeal to a new generation of design-conscious parents.

Stella McCartney said: “As a mother, I want the things I design to reflect the world I want to build.

“Working with Bugaboo felt completely natural, as it’s a brand that shares our commitment to innovation and responsibility. This collection is for every mum who wants to bring her own individuality and playfulness into parenthood.”

The collection will incorporate recycled polyester fabrics made from plastic bottles, water-free dye technology, recycled aluminium and bio-based materials.

Bugaboo said the materials had been selected to reduce the products’ environmental impact without compromising quality, performance or functionality.

Bugaboo chief executive Adriaan Thierry said: “Today’s parents are design-minded, values-driven and on the front foot of culture. They expect the brands they choose to reflect that.

“By combining Stella McCartney’s distinctive creative perspective with Bugaboo’s heritage of purposeful design and engineering excellence, we’ve created a collection that speaks to a new generation of parents who refuse to choose between performance, style and values.”

Founded in Amsterdam, Bugaboo has positioned itself as a premium parenting brand built around engineering, mobility and aspirational design.

The Stella McCartney partnership forms part of its wider strategy to develop culturally relevant collaborations and connect with parents who view parenting products as an extension of their identity and personal style.
