DPD expands Midlands logistics footprint with new Derby hub

DPD has strengthened its logistics network across the Midlands after taking an 82,000sq ft warehouse at Indurent Park Derby.

It signed a five-year lease on the site, which includes 78,585sq ft of warehouse space and 4,350sq ft of offices.

The deal marks DPD’s second major letting with Indurent in the Midlands in the space of a year, following its move into a 120,000sq ft logistics facility at Indurent Park Tamworth in October 2025.

Together, the two sites provide DPD with more than 200,000sq ft of logistics space as it continues to expand its operations across the region.

The new Derby facility has been built to high sustainability standards, achieving a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and EPC ‘A+’, with provision for solar panels and dedicated warehouse lighting.

Indurent Park Derby spans around 800,000sq ft across 11 units, with just one warehouse remaining available following the DPD deal.

Situated around two miles from Derby city centre, the site offers access to the East Midlands Gateway and major national transport routes, as well as East Midlands and Birmingham airports.

Indurent senior asset manager George Goldsmith said: “Indurent Park Derby is home to an international mix of occupiers, from engineering and medtech firms to fashion and beauty brands, and we’re pleased to welcome DPD to the park.

“Following its move into Indurent Park Tamworth last year, it’s great to be supporting DPD’s growth across the Midlands.”
