Shark Beauty has signed a long-term UK charity partnership with Look Good Feel Better, as the electrical beauty brand looks to support people affected by cancer through fundraising, volunteering and awareness activity.
The SharkNinja-owned brand said the tie-up would focus on helping people manage the visible side effects of cancer treatment.
Employee and customer campaigns are planned, alongside workshops and product sale donation initiatives later this year.
Carolyn Anderson, VP marketing at SharkNinja UK, said: “At Shark Beauty, we believe everyone deserves to feel their best, and that belief feels especially important for people navigating cancer treatment.
“Partnering with Look Good Feel Better allows us to put our products, our people and our platform behind a cause that makes a real, tangible difference to everyone who engages with it. Through fundraising, volunteering and awareness campaigns with our employees and customers, we want to help LGFB reach even more people across the UK who need this support.”
The partnership will make its public debut at Look Good Feel Better’s inaugural Feel Better Fest on 8 August, at Gildings Barn in Surrey.
The festival-style event will feature wellbeing activities including hair styling, skincare, makeup, yoga, meditation and live entertainment. Ticket proceed will towards the charity’s UK cancer support services.
Look Good Feel Better, which was founded in 1994, offers free in-person and virtual workshops for people undergoing cancer treatment. It aims to help them manage changes to their appearance and rebuild confidence.
Nicola Ellul, director of income generation, marketing & communications at Look Good Feel Better UK, added: “At Look Good Feel Better, we see every day how cancer treatment can change the way people look and feel, and how much it matters to have support that helps them feel more like themselves again.
“That’s why we’re so pleased to be partnering with Shark Beauty, a brand that shares our belief that everyone deserves to feel understood and cared for, especially during the hardest moments. This partnership isn’t just about raising awareness; it’s about reaching more people, in more places across the UK, with the practical support they need.”
