London is set to welcome yet another luxury fashion brand in the form of Maison Moreau, which is poised to make its debut in the posh Mayfair district.
The French luxury leather retailer has leased a unit at 21 Bruton Street for its first standalone UK store, and its third worldwide.
According to Property Week, the tenant has reportedly paid a premium to open within one of London’s most prestigious shopping locations, close to Diane von Furstenberg, Stella McCartney and Paul & Joe.
Maison Moreau, which began life in 1882, currently only has stand-alone stores in Paris and Tokyo and distributes through Joseph and Barneys New York.
Maison Moreau’s London flagship store would follow on from fellow Parisian fashion brands Alaïa and Chloé, both of which have also confirmed they will open shops on nearby Bond Street this year.
