The Yoox Net-a-Porter Group (YNAP) has confirmed the appointment of Giuseppe Tamola as the new global brand and marketing director for its Yoox fascia.
A spokesman from YNAP told Retail Gazette that Tamola will be responsbile for developing the Yoox’s brand and marketing mix as well well increasing its commercial efficiency.
He will make the move to the Milan-headquartered retailer after resigning from Berlin-based Zalando in December.
He had been with Zalando since February 2011, first joining as operations manager before working his way up to country cluster head for Italy, Spain and Poland.
“Having worked across operations, performance marketing, retail, localisation and brand marketing, Giuseppe’s experience will be a great asset in developing Yoox strategies,” the YNAP spokesman said.
YNAP is also the parent company of British online retailers Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter.
