Net-a-Porter extends localised platform to Middle East

// Net-a-Porter has launched a localised platform in the Middle East for the first time
// The offering has been fully customised to meet local shoppers’ needs

Net-a-Porter has launched in the Middle East with a localised platform for the region that comes in both Arabic and English.

The online luxury retailer said its offering has been fully customised to meet local shoppers’ needs.

That means product search in both languages and products curated for local tastes, as well as content tailored to local interests.

Prices are also shown in the relevant currency depending on which country the user is in.

Although Net-a-Porter has been available in the region before, this marks the first time it has a specifically-tailored site.

The retailer said it has future plans to take it further, launching collaborations with local designers and creating more personalised experiences.

“As the leading luxury platform, the launch of the localised Arabic site allows us to celebrate the unique beauty and talent of our community in the Middle East, bringing Net-a-Porter even closer to its customers,” Yoox Net-a-Porter Middle East chief executive Nisreen Shocair said.
