Studio.co.uk has completed a rebranding project with the launch of Studio Retail marking an end to the Express Gifts brand.
The rebrand also comes with a refreshed visual identity for the entire business and the start of an ambitious communications relaunch.
Express Gifts has been trading online as Studio.co.uk for a few months now, but the move now marks the end of the rebrand process which started last year.
The change also forms part of Studio Retail’s plans to become the UK’s “leading multi-range digital value retailer.”
The new visual identity has been introduced across corporate and customer-facing media, content and services, and features a highlighted cherry ‘o’ in a nod to the online retailer’s value positioning and “We Do Wow” strapline.
Studio is also re-launching its website and expanding its online marketing channels with increased investment in areas such as video content, programmatic, social media and influencer marketing.
The move comes after continuous record sales for the Findel-owned retailer. Revenue for its third quarter increased by 13.7 per cent, boosted by a 25 per cent surge in online sales.
“2018 was a big year for us, seeing record performance for our Studio.co.uk offering,” Studio Retail managing director Paul Kendrick said.
“We have come a long way from our traditional catalogue heritage, with a bright future ahead and our new brand recognises not only what we have become, but what we want to be.”
Studio Retail marketing director Chris Chalmers said: “Our new brand draws more attention to what we have become famous for – bringing our customers amazing products at fantastic value.”
