Pandora hires new chief marketing officer

// Pandora appoints Carla Liuni as new chief marketing officer
// Liuni was previously vice president of global marketing and communication at Bulgari
// She joins Pandora in March next year

Pandora has appointed Carla Liuni as its new chief marketing officer.

Liuni, who is expected to join the jewellery retailer in March next year, was previously vice president of global marketing and communication at Bulgari.

Prior to that, she worked for almost 20 years with Procter & Gamble, where she was general manager for a division that included Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Hugo Boss.

At Pandora, Liuni will report to chief executive Alexander Lacik and will be part of its executive leadership team.

Her appointment comes as Pandoraa ramps up its marketing investment as part of its turnaround plan which has also included a brand relaunch.

“Carla has a unique profile which combines mass market brand building with the ability to create the aspirational and desirable worlds of luxury goods,” Lacik said.

“She is a passionate and energetic leader, and I am very happy she will take this critical role in our leadership team.”
