Bensons for Beds has stepped up its transformation scheme by partnering with TV personality Stacey Solomon and launching a range of sustainable rolled-up mattresses.
Solomon is the first major brand ambassador for the bedding retailer, and joins after Bensons for Beds secured £25 million in financial support through a restructuring deal in June.
Part of the transformation features the launch of a new web platform, as well as the new Rollo by Slumberland ready-to-go mattresses.
Meanwhile in July, Bensons for Beds bolstered its executive leadership team with a number of new appointments.
This included the appointment of chief executive Mark Jackson alongside long-standing adviser Chris Howell as chairman.
Bensons for Beds has also appointed Joe Wykes as its new chief operating officer.
The new team is now implementing Bensons’ transformation plan as it looks to position itself as a “refocused and resilient” business.
