Sephora reveals opening date for second UK store

Sephora has confirmed that its second physical store in the UK will open on November 15 in London’s Westfield Stratford City.

The new outlet will stock products and personal services from over 125 brands across fragrance, haircare, makeup, skincare and wellness.

This includes several new and exclusive brands, including Adwoa Beauty, Relevant, STRAAND, Salt & Stone and Naked Sundays, on top of the beauty brand’s existing portfolio.

The new location will feature a ‘Grand Beauty Hub’ – offering a range of beauty services and treatments – as well as professional makeup services and skin and hair treatments.

Sephora chief executive Sarah Boyd said: “We are so grateful for the welcome we have received from our fans in the UK.

“Their response to our White City opening blew us away and far exceeded our expectations.

“We are committed to giving the UK a unique Sephora experience, one tailored to the unique cultural needs of this wonderful country,

“We hope the community in Stratford loves the store as much as those in West London and look forward to a day of treats and surprises at our opening,” Boyd said.

Sephora returned to the UK after 16 years back in 2021 when it acquired Feelunique in a £132m deal.

The LVMH-owned beauty retailer later rebranded the site and relaunched in October 2022, before opening its first flagship in Westfield White City the following March.

The conglomerate’s selective retailing division boss Christopher de Lapuente said the store had exceeded the group’s expectations.

He said the outlet’s sales performance was “300% better than expected within the first eight weeks” of opening.
