Argos is set to launch its Christmas advert this evening (1 November) starring the retailer’s much-loved toys Connie and Trevor.
In the clip, the duo showcase the brands that Argos sells, ranging from Shark to Sonos in aims to inspire gift ideas for shoppers.
At the start of the film, Trevor is seen making the directorial command “lights, camera, coffee machine” before Connie emerges from the shadows wearing a pink Christmas jumpsuit.

The doll is then seen dancing across a table, strutting past Argos products including a Sonos speaker and Habitat Gold cocktail shaker.
At the big finale, it is revealed that Trevor, who has been filming the display on a phone, has accidentally recorded himself the entire time.
Argos head of campaigns Laura Boothby said: “There was no better way to show off what you can find at Argos this Christmas than bringing back our loveable and family-friendly characters Connie and Trevor”.
The advert builds on the business’s ‘There’s More To Argos’ brand message, which launched earlier this year, which aims to showcase the range of third-party products on offer from the retailer.
The 30 second TV spot will launch at 19:45, with a high-impact out-of-home campaign also running across the country from today.
The retailer’s campaign will also run across video on demand, press, social, online, radio and PR, alongside a suite of TikTok films featuring the characters.
