Morrisons has revealed its Christmas advert for 2025, centred around the farmers, bakers and staff responsible for creating its festive favourites.

The 90-second film, dubbed “Making More of Christmas,” aired for the first time on ITV’s Good Morning Britain yesterday (4 November).

The advert follows those behind Morrisons’ food business, as they get ready for the festive season throughout the entire year.

The film, which was directed by commercial filmmaker Aaron Stoller and created by Leo Burnett UK, shows the retailer’s vertically integrated food model, showcasing its own bakeries, fisheries and manufacturing sites.

The clip finishes with a Morrisons delivery driver arriving at a shopper’s door, with the message: “At Morrisons, we’ve been growing, making, baking and crafting all year long.”

The campaign has been designed to champion the supermarket’s focus on quality fresh food and British sourcing.

Shorter 60 and 20 second edits are set to be featured across TV, cinema, social, print and outdoor during November and December.

Morrisons group customer, data and marketing director Matt McLellan said the advert “tells the story of how our festive fayre appears on shelves and the care and attention that goes into making it.”

He noted: “At Morrisons, our unique capabilities in fresh food mean we’ve been helping to make more of Christmas all year by growing, picking, baking, proving, prepping and planning to support our customers as the big day draws near.”

The news comes after John Lewis recently unveiled its highly anticipated Christmas advert, with the spot focusing on a father-son relationship.

Argos also released its Christmas advert earlier this week, bringing back mascots Connie and Trevor.
