Aldi has partnered with celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli to open a pop-up restaurant in London for one day only.

The restaurant, which aims to show off Aldi‘s quality and value, will sell the ingredients at £17.90 per person. A four course meal will be created and cooked by Michelni starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli using Aldi food.

Aldi said in a statement: “Our products are sourced from some of the best food and drink producers around, so our shoppers can be confident they are buying the finest products at the lowest prices.”

The news comes as Aldi was revealed to have almost equaled Marks and Spencer in terms of food sales as its impressive growth continues, according to Verdict
