Yoox Net-a-Porter poaches Burberry’s data boss for similar role

Yoox Net-a-Porter has raided Burberry’s senior ranks to hire Alessia Kosagowsky to become its chief data and analytics officer.

She will start in the newly-created role in the February, and will be responsbile for leading and growing Yoox Net-a-Porter’s data and business team to help execute the company’s data-driven and customer-centric strategy.

She will also work in closely with chief information officer Alex Alexander and the technology team, and will will report to co-chief operating officer Irene Boni.

Kosagowsky has been Burberry’s global customer analytics vice-president for the last five years.

“With 20 years of experience in data and analytics, Alessia is a true leader in the field,” Boni said.

“What has impressed us most is her ability to design teams and analytical solutions, developing approaches that are fit for the maturity of the organisation while being future-proofed for organic evolution.”

Yoox Net-a-Porter is the parent company of fashion retailers Mr Porter, Net-a-Porter and Yoox.
