The Entertainer hires new chief transformation officer as it targets growth

The Entertainer has appointed Julie Price as its new chief transformation officer as it embarks on achieving growth targets.

Price brings a wealth of relevant experience to the business gained across a host of major retailers such as TK Maxx, Ann Summers and most recently, White Stuff, where she held the position as IT and business transformation director.

At The Entertainer, Price’s remit will be focused on developing, accelerating and elevating the toy retailer’s digital processes.

This includes increasing productivity and profitability across a wide range of areas including online, in-store and supply chain.

Price will also join the retailer’s board.

“This is one of the most significant hires the business has made in recent years, adding another team member to the board and comes at an important time,” The Entertainer executive chairman Gary Grant said.

“Whilst retail has faced, and continues to face, challenges over the last few years, The Entertainer has continued to target growth, investing back into the business and its infrastructure to safeguard future success.

“Great people like Julie are testament to our success and we’re confident that she will be able to bring her skill set and experience to support the delivery of our ambitious growth plans.”
