Retail Gazette Loves: Topshop’s VR water slide

Topshop has transformed its flagship Oxford Street store into a virtual water park to mark the start of summer.

From May 25 to June 4 a virtual reality waterslide will be available for all customers to try out. Starting out at the top of a fictional flume, complete with an inflatable rubber ring, the user will don a VR headset and be flung through the “high intensity ride”.

Meanwhile the rest of the store will be fitted with twisting plastic waterslide pipes, the shop‘s main window will be transformed into an interactive pool, and an exclusive Topshop Snapchat lens will be available from May 27.
