Haribo opens first outlet store at London Designer Outlet

London Designer Outlet (LDO) has signed a raft of new stores, including confectionary brand Haribo’s first UK outlet store.

Haribo has signed up for a 1440sq ft shop, which also marked the company’s second retail store in the UK.

“As a well-loved and internationally recognisable brand, our top priority is to always meet the high-quality expectations of our consumers who trust us to produce a variety of treats that are unique and loved by young and old,” Haribo’s managing director Herwig Vennekens said.

“It is for this reason that LDO was chosen as the ideal location for our first outlet store in the UK.

“Our product range will complement the varied mix of retailers located at the centre and we know it’s a destination that our consumers will enjoy.”

The Wembley outlet centre has also signed another four retailers including bath retailer Molten Brown who will open a 775sq ft store.

Timberland will also open a 2400sq ft store marking the fourth VF Corp owned store at the centre alongside The North Face, Vans and Lee Wrangler.

Gift store Red 5 and bed retailer Tempur will also open 1010sq ft and 1640sq ft stores respectively.

The centre’s leasing director Christine Grace said: “We’re delighted with the new signings for LDO. Stocked in high-end department stores and found in five-star hotels, Molton Brown represents the aspirational brands which LDO is increasingly attracting.”
